The private lemon law checker works this way by design. To delete this data, press “Start over and clear my answers and files” below the report, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Anyone who uses the same browser profile on the same device can see this data, so clear it on a shared computer.

Information collected when you visit

  • Hosting logs. Like every website, our hosting provider receives standard request data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. It uses this data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. Your browser sends Google a request that includes your IP address. Google’s privacy policy applies to that request.
  • State rules files. The checker downloads the rules file for the state you choose from our own server. This request does not include your answers.

Cookies, analytics and ads

LemonLawMap does not currently set cookies, run analytics or show ads. If we add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Selling or sharing personal information

We do not sell or share personal information. We do not receive your checker answers or files, so we cannot sell or share them.

Children

LemonLawMap is intended for adults dealing with vehicle purchases and leases. It is not directed to children under 13.
